I keep getting a SRVO-473 error. It happens at different times throughout my programs and seems completely random. The issue is getting worse. It was rare before and now it seems to be happening multiple times per day. The only way to fix is to cycle power.

Is this the only Alarm code when it happens?
According to Fanuc:
Error Severity Message Cause Remedy R-30iB Plus:SRVO-473 DCS CLLB CC_EXTF alarm The result is different in 2 CPU for Collaborative Robot. Check the other alarms for more information. Note: You need to cycle power to release this alarm. -

Yes, there was an actual collision which threw the first SRVO-050 error. The robot was stopped due to collision it detected. Then a few hours later it threw the SRVO-473 alarm. Nobody was in contact with the robot at this time, and no one did any resetting between the two alarms because it was left overnight and unattended.

hi,
I get the same error on 2 CRX10
-on the first robot the error occurs when I restart the controller too fast I get the error,
-and on the other robot the error appears when it is in prod in a random way,
if anyone has any information about this.

I just got this error as well today. powered on machine, confirmed payload and no contact on DCS screen. went to jog robot around and as soon as I push the deadman it triggers this alarm.

Getting the same error on a Fanuc CR 7ia/L. Happens whilst jogging the robot quickly and in programs.
I have changed the DCS Collaborative mode to allow for the robot to run in a non-collaborative mode. Seemed to solve my issue thus far.
This is not a permanent solution nor is it a viable one for everyone. in my particular application I do not have a need for the collaborative mode.
If anyone has a better solution please post it.

With a non-collaborative, a CD with a Fanuc CM file is shipped. This file needs to be executed to use the force sensor correctly.
Do the collaborative robots ship with a CD? -
the biggest thing i've noticed is to make sure your payload is accurate, and your mastering is accurate. Mastering hi huge in crx robots. i would also try to run the robot at 50% speed and see if the alarm occurs if it does not one of your moves is making the robot think its hitting something.
