I have a robot project with two stations. The robot will work at a station. The employee will prepare the other station. After the robot finishes its work, it returns to the other station and works there. I will use light curtains at station entrances. I need to receive a signal from the robot to disable the Light curtain on the station where the robot is not running. I can use the workspace on the robot for this. But this is not completely safe because this signal is not safety. Do you have any suggestions? Many robots from the automotive factory have limit switches on the 1st axis, can I use them? Or can I make a design myself and use a safety switch?
