I had a question on the functionality/handshaking between PLC and robot. What happens if the PLC sends the same command code twice or a different command code before the robot gives a command complete for the procedure? For example,
What if the PLC sends a go to home position and then it sends it again before you get a command complete from the robot? Or what if the PLC sends the robot to home position but before it receives a command complete from teh robot the PLC sends go to clear position.
Does the robot complete the procedure and ignore the PLC commands or will it cause it to stop?
