I’m not sure if I’m using shifting right. I have the shift linked with the touch but it seems like it’s not shifting properly

What shift instruction are you using?
What touch job are you using?
Are you using the correct position variable?
Seems like it's not shifting properly. How so? What is the robot doing? Is the shift in the wrong direction?
I could go on and on asking questions. A little more detail would go a long way.

I am using r1-tch p1 and shift on to match the p. Every touch I match the position variable to a different one and the shift on to match.some times it’s shifts the wrong way and some times dosnt want to shift at all. I’m still a little new to the motorman if I’m doing anything wrong the feed back would be appreciated.
