Hi all,
in KUKA, there are arrays to declare tools and also bases...
Those arrays are declared with a specified size:
INT MAX_TOOL=16
DECL FRAME TOOL_DATA[16]
DECL CHAR TOOL_NAME[16,24]
DECL LOAD LOAD_DATA[16]
DECL IPO_M_T TOOL_TYPE[16]
INT MAX_BASE=16
DECL FRAME BASE_DATA[16]
DECL CHAR BASE_NAME[16,24]
DECL IPO_M_T BASE_TYPE[16]
Is it a problem if I modify all those 16 to 32?
One of my customers need more than 16 tools, and even he can simply use "$TOOL = {xyzabc}" to get a brand new tool at any moment, I'd like to know if an array tool extension would work without drawbacks in the robot HMI (KCP/smartpad), memory issues...
Never tried it before and I don't have a robot nearby to test it...
Thank you all!
