Hi folks!
I’m new to Yaskawa Motoman with the NX100 controller.
I’m encountering similar errors caused by the instruction MEMON PLY MPF#(4). The manuals are silent on this topic (as always… so here I am), but I figured out it’s associated with multi-layer welding. Maybe it’s related to COMARC too?
So, my questions are:
1) What exactly is COMARC, and where can I find a comprehensive manual to implement it in my process?
If I’m right, in other systems it was enough to turn on the arc sensor, and the robot would follow the proper seam between components. I guess it’s more complicated in the Yaskawa workflow?
2) What are MPF files?
What is stored in them? Are they associated with T-variables for multi-layer welding?
3) I tried to teach a T-variable using MODIFY + ENTER, but I got a message like:
"UNDO DATA CLEAR (...)" or something similar. My teaching wasn’t saved. How should I do it properly?
4) How can I deal with these errors? I really need to fix them.

These should help you out.
KszychU If you need any help with Comarc, feel free to ask. I just learned everything there is to learn about it, i even contacted the Yaskawa representatives about it as we were having some troubles with it and wanted to push the sensor to its limits ( welding thin sheet metal, welding a pipe seam with a changing angle).
With Comarc its really important your weawing and welding parameters are impecable ( we had a lot of problems because our weawing wasnt set up properly and because of that the sensor would undercut the material really badly).
COMARC is based on weaving frequency. You have to set up the PC data and sensing conditions based on the frequency you will be using in your weave in order for the data to be correct. Failure to do so can cause great difficulty
