why do I keep getting "part detected at search start"
Everything was working fine and now I cant do search_1D 'cuz this error
If it's the smartac system how can I reset the signal (might be stuck on ON/OFF.

Which Smartac do you have ?
One built-in the powersource (which is technically not Smartac, but still) or one attached to the PIB board, or a complete stand-alone ? (powersource and country of your location might help)
One test that might work (depending on your equipment) is to disconnect the (+) positive lead from the welder.
integrate in the PIB board
With 675 DI miller power supply
SAABoholic
Disconnected the pos+cable from power supply and reconnect it to try it again and same issue with the search
Have you looked in your IO to verify the state of the signal? Especially to check if it has been simulated.
Should I look for input or output? Do you kno what it might be named as? I'm new on abb
I have not used that system, but the Search instruction should have the name of the input signal.
do_voltage_sense =0 DO false
do_current_sense=0 DO false
Cant find anything with similar in the DI's
What lines of code have the search instruction? Can you post?
Search_1D peOffSet_1,*,*,v1000, tweldgun_tandem\wobj:=stn1
Looks like there should be a routine called "Search_1D" Can you post that?
Probably encrypted.
One other thing, v1000 is pretty fast for a search. Try slowing it down, especially if we are talking a short distance here.
Search_1D\wire peOffSet_1,*,*,v1000, tweldgun_tandem\wobj:=stn1
This is one line/code using wire to touch
Look for this signal:
diSE_DET1
cant find it anywhere in the digital inputs
What about this one? smtsigwire1
negative
Outputs? doSE_REF1, doWIRE_SEL1 or doSE_SENSOR1? Which version of robotware?
I found an older manual for S4C+ here:
do_voltage_sense =0 DO false
do_current_sense=0 DO false
These two are the only ones that come close to touch sense description
