Robots don't generally need a lot of internal mechanical maintenance, unless it's quite old and you're doing an overhaul. Greasing/oiling would be one of the few regular PM items, and each brand/model has it's own specific lubricants.
Electrical maintenance is required more often. And maintenance on end effectors, and their associated cables&hoses.
In general... a full set of allen wrenches. Metric at minimum, but you should probably also have SAE. Multimeter with various test leads, needle-nose pliers, a couple vice grips/channel-locks, a spool of wire, some velcro strap, electrical tape... a couple good multi-tip screwdrivers. A decent multitool, like a Victorinox or Leatherman/Gerber. A small flashlight. A camera is surprisingly useful, but most phones will handle that these days. A notepad and a few pens&hilighters in different colors.
A lot of programing/configuration stuff these days requires a computer, so a laptop with Admin rights, NotePad++, a good terminal emulator... a decent ethernet cable, maybe a serial cable and a USB-RS232 adapter, for old hardware. A couple robust USB memory sticks. An extension cord and a small power strip, b/c there's NEVER enough outlets near the machines you're working on. Maybe a small USB-powered ethernet hub. Software... well, robot-specific software you'll probably have to download and install over time, as needed, because there's so many different ones.

There was a discussion a couple of years ago on tools.
Check it out here:
