In my company i need to change old KUKA KR3 robot with new KR6 R700 robot. And i have few questions. But first i need to say that robot communicating with PLC only with Profibus with 2byte in, 2 byte out.
1. Do i need one more byte for some start up of robot? Enabling axis, drives off, drives on.. Or robot can make it by itself? I thought to put one DI, one DO card on robot itself to make it?
2. In controller i have EtherCAT coupler EK1100. When i connect on it just profibus card EL6731 it see that, but if i put between coupler and profibus two more IO cards it showing error on profibus? It must be first IO cards then Profibus card, physically is not possible on different way.
3. I have some message on smartPAD "Boot failed for module: EthernetKRL" i even do not use ethernet. Picture in attachment. How to solve that?
