    Hello,

    I apologize in advance if this topic is too elementary but I have now searched through a lot of docs, forum posts and not seen anyone with similar problem.

    I am using a KRC4 with mxAutomation set up over profinet/-safe to connect a Siemens 1516F controller. KRC4 is the device. I have configured the IO correctly and my software is set up like this.

    KRC_ReadAxisGroup
    KRC_Initialize
    <KUKA mxAutomation blocks here>
    KRC_WriteAxisGroup

    The problem is that the Initialize refuses to report "Done". I get no error feedback from the block. I have triple checked my IO addresses and they are correct. I do seem to get some information from the controller but still no init feedback. ANy special settings I have to do in the controller? Do any of you have any tips of what I have to do to get it initialized. I have looked at the Display-Inputs/Outputs-Automatic Eternal IO's and to me it seems ok. :help:

    General Motion Enable KSS00203. This is a command that should come from the PLC after I get the init up and running right?

    Edit: I also see that ProConOs seems to be in stop mode. Could this indicate that my controller is set up the wrong way?

    it clearly says that there is an I/O configuration issue

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

    Yeah. The KRC4 came set up from KUKA so need to contact them then as we dont have licences to set up the config in ProConOs. Just so that I have not misunderstood anything here. To correct this I would need to reconfigure in the KRC project using the ProConOS/mxAutomation optional package or can this be done from the smartPad?

    Without it, you will need a template project that is already configured, then import all your stuff into it (robot, programs, IO config etc.).

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...
