Hi,
there are interesting posts in this forum concerning your question. You will need to search. For example, a recent post on KRC4 (though yours is KRC2) may be helpful:

For communicating with a PC application, you are probably limited to using EKI (which would you would to purchase and install on the KRC), or the serial port built into the KRC2.
thank you SkyFire,
about the EKI is it just need KUKA Ethernet software and using the Ethernet port on MFC card OR it needs also new hardware?
EKI should not require any additional hardware, although you'll want to double-check that with KUKA tech support, with the specific serial # of your KRC.
You will need to install the KUKA-Router program (which should come with the EKI package) into the Windows side of the KRC, and set up a route for the the EKI port traffic. Basically, the Windows half of the KRC's brain "owns" that Ethernet port, and the VxWorks side cannot access it directly. But since VxWorks and Windows are already communicating through a virtual network connection, the Router program, running in Windows, can intercept any traffic on specific ports and pass it to the other network interface.
