Where is the fault LED? My M2000 has PWR, HDD, and STATUS LED's on the main board.
-
thanks for reply
it is in computer board the same system that you have -
mostley Flash Drive or IOComputer
-
thank you for your tips

Try taking all 3 boards off the motherboard rack and re-fitting them. Believe it or not but sometimes that's all it can take.

thanks, yes I tried it but it does not work, today the fault led gave me steady red
I am still struggling and I am trying now to establish connection through the serial port
by using hyper terminal program to delete the image bin file as suggested by Iowan but didn't succeed
any help is highly appreciated
thanks for all -

I mean by fault led is the status oneOK! Now that I know which light is blinking...
I still don't have an answer...
Since the Status light has now gone red, are the symptoms still the same - Is it still stuck on countup, or has a different error message popped onto screen?
Have you reloaded OS since re-seating cards? -
Hey In my case my s4c+ occur ed same problem.
loading counter had not finish.it was problem serial cable.
wrong port.
Check serial cable position which connected with PC -
thanks for all
Iowan , symptoms still the same , counting up,and no massage popped on the screen
the problem of reloading operating system is I could not establish connection from pc to controller
either from service port or serial port (com 1) port
thanks -
Have you reloaded OS since re-seating cards? In hindsight, the S4C+ is not as prone to dump the OS as prior versions (not that it cannot still happen).
Are you using a crossover cable on the service port? A hub/switch will also work.
Your computer has a serial port - or are you using a USB-serial converter?
