Hello,
What would I have to do to control my spindle speed with the analog output?
I know you can write a bit string to the analog output, to change voltage....
What would the code look like?
Thank you
Analog 0-10v spindle control DSQC 327

This example comes from and S4C+ controller:
-Name "aoEqu1F1" -Type "AO" -Unit "Digital1" -Phsig 1 -LogMax 100\
-PhMax 10You will have to adapt it for your usage.

Thank you,
What would the code look like to send a 5 volt signal from that potential output?
if 0 bits is 0 volts, what is max bits for 10 volts? -
Using the example where the physical max is 10V and the logical max is 100 gives a ratio of 10/100.
Instruction "SetAO aoEqu1F1, 50" should give you approx. 5V out. Set it to 57 and get 5.7V out.Instead of entering values direct, use num data to make changes easier.
The System Parameters section of the User's Guide will explain setting up the AO signal.
The SetAO instruction & num data are explained in the Rapid Reference manual.
