Hello,
I'm using KCP2 on KSS V5.2.12 with a keyboard shared between my PC and Kuka's PC via software called Synnergy.
I can use F2-12 keys to use some options from top and bottom bar of the as on attached picture.
Are there any more hotkeys like that I could use?

Did you contact makers of “Synnergy”? I would think if anyone knows that product, it would be them...

Synergy is just mouse and keyboard sharing, I can use the same keys when I just plug in the keyboard via PS/2
-
that works on any KRC2

I guess I expressed myself poorly, what I want to know is are there any more keys I could use to interact with the interface other than these F2-F12?
For example I can access "Configure" tab pressing F11 on external keyboard, so is there a way to access "Commands", Program Speed or Run etc.? -
As far as I recall, that's the only key mapping KUKA did on the KRC2 HMI. I think I tried using the key-codes for F13 and higher, and didn't get anywhere. But it's been a loooong time, so I could be recalling falsely.

Yeah that might be the case as I couldn't get anything other to work and manuals do not seem to cover this.
I guess I'm stuck to swapping between controller and keyboard
Anyways thanks for the replies guys. -
You can use a mouse to hit the softkeys, no need for keyboard interaction. Left and right click increase and decrease values, the rest operates like a normal Windows GUI. The only softkeys you can't hit from within Windows are related to safety, drives, and program start/stop, because they're processed on the MFC/DSE card and are only displayed in Windows, whereas other softkeys are just keyboard emulation(but also through the MFC).
I also wouldn't recommend using Synergy on such a low power computer - check your CPU usage. You might not feel like it, but it could be pegged at 100% during image transmission. I use TightVNC to combat that problem. -

Thanks for the Synergy tip, I'll look into it -
Yeah, I got so used to using the F-keys when I was connected to KRC2s, when the KRC4 abandoned them, I was extremely annoyed. Especially since you could also use the keyboard letter shortcuts after the F-key opened a menu. It made it easy to write small Windows scripts that emulated keyboard operations, without having to bother with mouse emulation. Being able to use the hotkeys was sooo much faster than having to take my hand off the keyboard and grope for the mouse....
