Hi all,
I have a question about our DX100 robot. I attended the basic course about a month ago. Awesome course I must say. But either they didn't cover this. Or I forgot. Was how to load a new program from a USB stick. I have room to install one. Just don't know how to do it for sure. It looks straight forward. But I don't want to crash the robot!
Thanks in dvance

Put usb in pendant. In Main menu, EX. MEMORY, DEVICE, change to usb if necessary. EX. MEMORY, LOAD. Select on job. Select on job name. Enter, LOAD, YES.

May be worth noting for future ref, you cannot load a job with a name that already exists. So if you are trying to restore a backup, rename the job first, then load from USB

Hello!
While this is mostly true, you can set parameter RS59 = 3 to allow overwriting of jobs in the robot controller or on your usb / compact flash card.
0= no overwriting
3 = overwriting both directions
1-2 = allowing you to overwrite one direction or another. I forget which one does which.Hope this helps!
Edit: This works back to NX100. Havent tested on earlier models.
