Arc shortage

I am using a xrc6 motoman and trying to run drycycle without any weld mode enabled. When i try to run the robot program in teach using interlock + test start, the robot has a fault of 9020 Arc Shortage. the welder is disconnected since we havent been able to input a weld program yet from the welding department. However i am asked to run the robot in dry. is this possible?

Hi , select” Check “ Mode , robot System will not look at turning on Or monitoring the welder.

Check Run is a Play mode function. In Play, looking at the job content. Go to UTILITY, SETUP SPECIAL RUN. Make Check Run VALID. If your in Interlock Test-Start if should be turn weld in teach off.
