I know this does not belong in the Fanuc forum but i am desperate and got no help in the Panasonic section. I am looking for a Operating manual for a Panasonic VR-00AL 2 welding robot. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kyle Hoye

Hey Kyle what are you trying to get it to do?
They want us to go out there tomorrow to see if there is still a program in it/ if it will still run. I am not familiar with Panasonic at all but have been programming fanuc robots for several years. I was going to wing it and check it out and thumb through to see if i can get it moving. They told us their guy that ran it left a while back and it has been sitting since.
So basically, to check if a program is there and attempt to run it if there is one in it. It goes without saying i dont actually want to fire this up and start welding just go through the motions as if it were. And if there is not a program just jog it around and test movements.
Thanks.
Panasonic uses a thumb wheel and axis buttons, so you'd press the axis button and turn the thumb wheel up for + and down for negative.
As far as checking for a program there is a button on the rh side under the thumb wheel that looks like 2 Windows this button jumps you from the program window to the top menu bar where you can open the file menu and check if there are any programs.
Oh ya you open the file menu by highlighting it and pushing right on the thumb wheel.
Thanks i will start with that. I have been looking everywhere for operating manuals and haven't found a thing.
Is there a way to "step" through the program one line at a time like fanuc robots?
Yes there is a button that looks like foot steps if you activate this then use the + & - buttons to move forward and back wards I think.
Sorry I wish I could be more help but it's been a while since I have used Panasonic.
I know I have a copy of the manual somewhere but I can't find it and I'm not sure if we're allowed to post user manuals here
Kyle
