Hi there I was wondering if it is possible to use the skip function to update/offset a Uframe?
I am currently programming a flex cell and am trying to set it up so that someone could run a program that would update the Uframe position.
Thanks

Yes. There are 2 versions of skip, so make sure to use "skip lbl pr".
This will automatically record LPOS into the specified PR. You can use that PR for an offset or to create or modify a user frame.
The slower you move, the more accurate it will be, I think 100mm/sec is the max speed allowed. You can also record in several places to generate more points for your calculation.

Thanks for responding
I noticed that and I think I have an idea, unfortunately no robot around until the morning.
I was hoping to use 3 different points to update the Uframe Origin point, x pos and y pos.
Thanks again
It is unknown which variable stores the location of the 3 user frame approach points. So unfortunately it won't be that easy.
You can however set a user frame directly equal to a PR. So if you want to use multiple points you must do the trig yourself to calculate the frame into a single PR.

Figured it out thanks a lot
