Looking for some help guys. We have a new R30iB cell with iRVision 2D and we"re running 8 different parts on it. Not really sure what the procedure is to setup Multiple GPMs. Would like to know how to setup Multiple GPMs. We have one program that runs 4 GPMs. and a few others running one GPM. Any help or direction would very much appreciated.

If your GPM's refer to a standard shape (rectangle, circle, square) is very easy to use an XML file to automatically train a GPM.

I am unclear as to where you need assistance.
Are you unsure of setting it up in the Vision Setup or in the actual TP programs?
I am reading you message and am seeing you already have multiple GPMs setup...just looking for more detail on your issue. -
We have a cell that we bought from Japan preassembled and programmed it works ok but not great. Some of the parts are located with 2D single view vision process programs that utilize multiple GPM's. We also have a robot that we bought just for testing and we are trying to recreate the processes in the test area. I have set up my test process using 4 GPM Locator Tools. I have each assigned a model number and taught each rotated 90 Deg. In the mother tool i created 4 indexes for each model ID but I am having trouble getting the reference data set for each index. When I test the program it works for GPM #1 but if the part is located with any of the others i get a No reference data set error.

If it's the same part, why just not set allowed R to -180->+180 degrees?
On the same principle you can do an Vision Override and call it from TP program to override values which you setup in your GPM locator.
If above is possible, in my opinion it's easier to maintain. If you are still going with 4 GPM's and 4 model ID's please make sure that you setup reference position for each model ID.
