I know how to set up normal weaving but forgot how to set-up a in line weave for a Fanuc RJ3ib robot controller?

It's been a while since I've used an RJ3iB but I believe there is a setting in the weave schedule to change the azimuth. If I'm not mistaken, changing it to 90 should give you the "in line" weave.

I did have to change the azimuth to 0. I was hoping that I could do it without changing a global setting.

On the new controllers it's in the weave schedule. You can set a global variable for azimuth in the program itself. You just have to remember to re-set it at the end of the weave/program.
