A very basic question here. I have a Fanuc robot that I am working with. I know how to do basic teach pendant programming, but I would like to move on to editing the program on a computer. Now, I have so far figured out that I can "print" a TP file to a USB drive as an LS file, open it on Notepad or similar, edit it the way I want, and I can load a TP file from the USB back to the robot controller. However, to finalize and close the loop, I need to convert the LS file on my computer to a TP file.
I don't have Roboguide installed on my computer and I don't know if/when I can get it. The robot I am using doesn't have the ASCII Upload option either. So, does anyone know an alternative way to close the loop and convert an LS file to a TP file on a computer?
