Hi,
I have SGMP AC servo motor, can i adopt this motor to DX200?
Bcz im planning to buy DX200 controller and the respective Servopack. And it would be better if u say the servopack model for dx200 controller.
Thanks.

SGMP motors are the original Sigma motors. Through the evolution there have been Sigma II, Sigma III and now Sigma IV. The DX200 uses Sigma IV motors, so the SGMP motor probably won't work. The next problem you will face is the Sigma IV motors are much smaller and will not mount to the same gear box as a SGMP motor so your probably have to change the gearbox as well.
The only way you could connect your SGMP motor to a robot is with a Yaskawa drive. You wouldn't be able to move the SGMP motor the same way as you do the robot servo motors with the teach pendant. You would have to per-program the Yaskawa drive with positions and then tell the drive with outputs from the robot to go and stop....
Thanks for the reply....And how about for nx100 and dx100.
This is the exact motor I have..
That's an old MRC motor. As I said original Sigma style. May (if you can find parts) work with and XRC but don't count on it and Sigma III dropped the .8kw motor size. They go from .6 to 1.2kw.
