I believe this is a question that should be directed to tech support.
Measure the voltage on the SMB battery. It should be slightly higher than its rated voltage, i.e. a new 7.2V is usually 7.4-7.6V and a new 10.8V is usually 11.0-11.3V. Do you have a second SMB?
Hello.
All about SMB at attachements. BR, Olda.

battery i replaced was inside the manipulator itself, where would the second smb battery be located if there is one?
S4C/+ would have a separate SMB/brake release for external axes... not so sure about IRC5's.
Another thread around here (somewhere), mentions main computer battery (or was that controller?) ...
You will have a 2nd SMB with battery if you are controller 8 or more axes. If you are, then it may be inside a cabinet at the positioner, in the controller, or an aux cabinet.
