hi, i try to wiring the s4c+ m2000 robot with the external safety replay for the customer connection X1. i already call the tech support so they say that i can connect to either top of es, bottom of es, or seperated es signal because X1 is a giant complete circuit. but i want to know what is the best way to connect it. (for example top of es for chain 1, bottom of es for chain 2, or both need to be top of es. v.v..)
s4c+ safety wiring help

Just my opinion:
Dual-channel circuits can be time-sensitive - a slow relay can hang up the system. For that reason, I would put them in the same place - top or bottom. I'm not sure if one is preferred over the other. -
hi do you have the sample or picture of all the wiring for customer connection. i have the diagram where all the jumper need to be but i dont know which jumper that i can use for the safety relay contact, thanks

Attached is a photo of the connector - if it helps...
There are a few different modes to consider - Emergency Stop, General Stop and Auto(matic mode) Stop.
... depends on what/if you want the robot to do. -
that is auto stop and general stop, can i get the emergency stop X1,X2 also

Sorry, I was concentrating on position. Here's the other connector(s).

hi, why are you using pin 7 and 8 on x1 connector
-
There are several places in the E-Stop chain you can use. Rather than go into details, search the 'Installation and Commisioning' section of the product manual for both "Inspection before start-up" and "MOTOR ON / MOTOR OFF circuit" for detailed information. If you don't have the product manual, let us know what robot you have and someone will provide.

hi, why are you using pin 7 and 8 on x1 connectorVendor supplied. It has been working that way, so I've never had reason to check it.
