1) I defined a tool frame (tool 1)
2) I wrote programming with lots of motion using that tool.
3) It then became necessary to change the dimensions of the tool. We needed a tool a couple of inches longer and we will never be going back to the original tool.
4) I cleared out the tool data and defined the new tool. (still tool 1)
5) Now both in the real world and in roboguide, none of my programmed points are valid. I get an errors referring to the limits. The new tool data is only two inches longer and it is clearly able to reach my point by driving to the points via manually jogging with the keys.
It seems to me, one should be able to tweak the tool dimensions and not lose all one's programming. I've got to be missing something.
Anyone have some insight on this?
