Thanks ahead for the help. I had a KRC2 240 robot running and we replaced it with a 360 and I can't figure out how or where to drop in a backup for a robot we have that has the 360 machine data file. I was told to pull one off the network and load it but there are several files and I'm not sure where to put in the backup. This is a test robot so i just need it to run with the larger 64,32 drives. I've changed hard drives and pulled the correct backup off the network directly to the robot but this is new to me.

You swapped out a KR240 for a KR360, but kept the controller? Do you have a full backup made with this KR360?
You don't mention anything about what files you do have, or what they contain.
The simplest solution is to do a full Archive Restore All -- that'll overwrite the machine data and the robot id. But you'll need to have a full Archive file made from a KRC2 that had this KR360 (or an identical KR360 model) installed on it.

Test your 360 robot with the required Machine and robcor.dat. If the system works, adapt files like config.dat with a comparision program. Next you load your application programs step by step and test their functions. Not all points can be reached with a 360 like on your old one.

I ended up getting an archive from another 360 but had to comment out the application (welding) in the config file that I didn't need. Then it started up. We're testing a few spare controllers so I'm sorry if I was a little vague. Thanks so much for the help.
