I have been configuring a robot in Robobuide 8M.
In a few days I will go to the real robot (brand new, out of the box).
My virtual robot was not based on a backup of the real robot.
So I don't want to put a complete all of above backup from the virtual robot to the real robot.
So I thougt transferring single files to the real robot would be a better idea.
But what files are what?
I should want to recuperate as much as possible from virtual to real robot : f.i. IO, frames, registers, program files, etc.
So if possible I should want a list of the files I can transfer and what they stand for.
Thanks.
Transfer separate files to R30i B

IO: DIOCFGSV.IO, CELLIO.SV
Frames: SYSFRAME.SV, FRAMEVAR.VR
Registers: NUMREG.VR, POSREG.VR, STRREG.VR
Program files: All your .TP files (but do not overwrite the factory ones already existing in the robot), MIXLOGIC.SVDo not try to copy .LS and .VA files- they are created in the robot automatically.
Etc.: Depends on the options used, and the list may be endless,
e.g. SYSEIP.SV for Ethernet/IP configuration, HTCOLREC.VR for collision autorecovery, etc.The following must be set manually, as there are no separate files:
- System configuration.
- I/O interconnect, if used.
- Program selection method.
- Override.
- Collision detection.
- Space function, if present.
and, most probably, more. -
You can take the whole backup to the new robot. But please don't import following files:
SYSFORCE.SV
SYSMAST.SV
SYSSERVO.SV
logbook.ls
Also the new robot has to stand in the same position as your robot at roboguide.
I also do it in the same way and program anything at roboguide before I go to the new robot.
