Hello,
There is any posibility to abort 3 autostart programs from terminal at the same time?
I know that in KRterm you have MacroDlg and you can create button with abort/kill how many autostart program you want.
Thank you,
Alex!

I don't think this is possible (from my understanding).
- Each step is executed sequentially and pcabort, pckill is a single instruction.
- I don't believe you could create a multiple abort command instruction over 1 step.
Hello,
.PROGRAM autostartstop ()
PCABORT 1:
PCABORT 3:
PCABORT 4:
.END
I think will abort all the autostart programs in 2 ms.
That would probably work.
I thought you were asking about doing it from the terminal, and not from an executable program......ie a command....
Anyone could execute that program from the terminal/built in keyboard unless restricted access was introduced.
- Aborting all autostart programs, may introduce problems on a running system.....so just consider consequence.
Another thing for you:
It is common for an autostart program to be cyclic by use of goto command in program.
- This prevents PCEND command from working, and many people forget about this PC Control Command.
- So, only option is PCABORT.
However, if you program with conditional goto or perhaps a maintenance purpose, then you can use PCEND to stop program instead.
Do you know of ZALIAS function also?
