I am trying to have a program watch for an input. My thinking is to have sub-program be conditional and run it in the background. Will this work, and if so if the condion becomes true can I call a program that has motion?

This is called RSR program select mode, and works without BG Logic involved. -
maybe you can use MAIN program that has no motion, loops, and then when the input is on, calls the motion program.
LBL 1
IF DI 1=OFF JMP LBL2
CALL INFEEDPCK
LBL 2
JMP LBL1 -
I usually do something like this in BG
if DI[x]=on F[x]=on
then in your motion program look for the flag
then after you use it turn the flag offthe flag will then go high again when the DI goes high again.

Thanks everyone. All good stuff. I really like this site.

How do you look for it (flag) in a program. And would the syntax for creating the flag look like "DI--=on [F]?
