Hi guys,
I am working with a KR 30-3 with KSS 8.3.xxx with KRC4 controller.
I am able to establish an ethernet connection between the KUKA CPU and an external CPU. I was able to write a text file via an SCR script using CWRITE to the KRC\Roboter\UserFiles directory.
However I have run into a new problem. I cannot make this drive writeable from the external CPU (I am able to read from it). I went and changed the read/write permissions for users by minimizing the HMI and proceeding as I normally would in a Windows interface. I am not sure if I need to enable "special permissions" for certain users however. I am logged in as "KukaUser" and am wondering if I need to login as admin to assign the necessary "write" access for my external CPU? Has anybody else encountered this problem?
In addition, I uncheck the "READ ONLY" checkbox for a user, apply the change, and then exit the properties screen. I open up the properties menu again and "READ ONLY" is selected again (even though I just previously unchecked it and applied the change)! So in essence I make the change, yet it changes immediately back. This leads me to believe I may need to login as "admin" instead of "expert."
Any thoughts/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!
Regards!
