Sometimes the pendant connector gets smacked and loses contact.
Sometimes an image file gets corrupted, and must be removed.
thanks for your reply
yes some time it ask me restore an image file.
do you mean i removed this image?
may it make me problem after removing this image?
cause i have 2 controller and i use frome this pendant for both.
in one of this controller after 300 second
it apear a message about image.
i test teach pendant in another controller its ok
i changed flash drive
and its ok
i put it inside another controller and it be ok.
what do you think about cpu?

The machine should generate a fresh image file when it shuts down (gracefully). I try to leave them down for a minute to let everything happen, but nature isn't always that cooperative. There is a procedure in one of the ABB books to connect via HyperTerminal (or other programs).
You say the flash drive booted in another controller? I suppose it's possible that the CPU has failed... That may be the diagnosis if you find a comfortable chair and call ABB 1-800-help-365.
Hi ebb,
I faced similar issue recently, I removed every board (PCI,Mother Board & Flash drive) inside CPU. And tested with one which is working then figured out my flash drive is the problem. As you said your flash drive is ok. Then try to check the boards. Or sometimes cables will be the problem just remove everything and put it back.
thanks for everybody
i will check my board.
my flash and teach pendant are ok
