Hello everybody!
I am a student and I'm currently writing a survey of robot operating systems and environments.
Right now I am trying to find information about industrial robot operating systems / environments:
I have spent the last couple of days trying to find specific information about the operating systems the "big" industrial robot manufacturers use (KUKA, ABB, you name it).
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything more than a couple of programming manuals which are more about the programming than the actual architecture of the robot systems.
Can somebody please poke me in the right direction? I try to get more information about how those environments compare with respect to specific features.
For example: What does the Infrastructure look like? What are the programming paradigms that are supported? What languages are supported?
Do you know of any comparison between the the different operating systems/ environments of common industrial robots? I would be highly grateful!
