Good evening,
I have an application where I need to ensure that whenever there is a power interruption the robot continue the operation of the point that had stopped.
How can I do this?
Enable HOTSTART in the configuration menu under system. Unless it is a line tracking system, the robot will remember where it is.
Thank Nation . Imagine you have 20 points where the robot has to go . The power failure and the robot stops at the 2nd place . With this option after the power returns it will continue in 2nd place ?
Yes it will
You have to consider that the robot might not be "exactly" where stopped, it could be few pulses out. The robot sagged down a little bit. I don't know your application, but if you were threading a needle, I wouldn't restart again just like that
Thank's.
I tested and it works. I can make a kind of error recovery ?
When power supply failure the robot stops in a particular line of the program . When the power is turned on the robot goes to a preset location . How can I implement?
That is, after the power is connected the robot goes into a kind of safety position.
