If you have DCS there are a slew of $DCSS system variables - but not documented in System Variable Manual - wondering if someone knows the variable to tell me if Zones are enabled or disabled - then can bg logic DO[] out to PLC
DCS

I am looking for those same system variables now. I want to write a background logic code that will record the date and time if a DCS zone is deactivated. I have the framework of the code, i just need to know the system variable that indicates whether a given JPC is enabled or disabled. If no one has it on hand, i can figure it out through trial and error, but i don't want to redo work that someone else has already done.

You can monitor DCS status in $DCSS_PSTAT variable.
For example for JPC ($DCSS_PSTAT.$STATUS_JPC) I tried and I look like this:
0 - Safe
1 - Unsafe
2 - Unused
3 - JPC zone disabled with disabling inputIf you have DCS I/O Connect option you can also copy status of JPC to non-safety output and monitor them thru digital inputs.
