    Hi,

i have the following problem: having the controller alone, no externals, no arm connected. When powering up the controller i dont have any power-led on the processor-board lighten up - so obviously the power-supply is not generating any supply-voltages.

is the a kind of "interlock" or loop which has to be closed or connected for the power-supply to start working? will this thing produce supply-voltages even outside the controller, on the desk for testing purpose? does anyone have a pinout for the power-supply or the backplane in the controller?

the 4 fuses inside the power-supply are ok.

there are 2 red LED's inside the power-supply-unit itself, labeled somewhat like AC H and AC L. one LED is just blinking when the AC is connected/switched on and lighten up when disconnecting the AC-power, dimming slowly thereafter - so it might be that these are some kind of Over-AC and Under-AC warnings.

does someone have a maintenance/service/circuit-manual of the c-series-controller, maybe the C70?

    best regards
    Carsten

...ah, i think i found it: X204 has an input for external power supply. this switches the internal PS off. connecting pins 2 and 15 on X204 will enable it

    Yes, that's the connection.
X204 is usually supplied with those pins jumper'd out................ :top:
