Im hoping someone can assist me with this issue. I am trying to add a Numatics solenoid valve back to the robot network using the manual entry menthod. I cannot seem to get the configuration from the EDS file to work properly. Has anyone done this before? It is a first for our facility. Thanks

Assuming you mean Ethernet/IP and the robot is a scanner, you need to know the connection size in bytes in both directions, and assembly instances of the adapter (input, output, configuration). The information should be provided in the adapter documentation, or discovered manually from the EDS file.

Also, try connecting to the valve block with a web browser. It should list what the adapter information needs to be set to. I found this out when setting up a valve block a couple of years ago.
