We have Kuka KR100 arm with a milling spindle. It has a KRC2 controller. I have a CAM system that I use to program Vertical and Horizontal Milling machines. I can output an NCI file and convert it to a APT file. What do most folks use to get from this type of format into a .src file that the robot understands? I'm being told that we need a Eureka or Robotmaster software package to convert and manipulate the file...are there other software packages we should be looking at also???...brand new to this so any help would be appreciated...

You can check also Sprutcam - it is very nice software package and it is a CAM software as well - so you can do everything inside. Plus - it is a way cheaper than the other robot packages
If you use only 3 axis for milling you can use g-code from your existing CAM software and to convert it to SRC - there are free g-code converters to KUKA language -
there are free g-code converters to KUKA languageCare to share?? This would save me SOOO much time and cost on some trade show stuff we do.
