I have 2 r30ia controllers and we have a central opcon away from them with a hmi for the operators to interface with the robots and one thing that was never installed was at the remote opcon was a light to show the robots are faulted. The opcon has a small fault light on it that goes into a board on the back of the door my question is what do i have to do to get an output to work along with that. I would like to put a simaliar light on the opcon so they dont need to look at that one. Can someone help me out here with this?

Can you put a fault indicator in the HMI? I use GE Quickpanel View HMI's connected to the robot using Ethernet EGD. I use the UO2 output (system ready) from the UOP I/O. I map outputs to the HMI and set one of the outputs equal to UO2 in a background task.

Yea i will probably put it on the hmi i just didnt know which signal that light used. I am using a Allen bradly PVP and talking to the robots through the plc and they dont have the UOP's set up on these particullar cells. They are from an italian company and they utilzed a proface as the translator between the two so i can write and read to just about anything but i could never figure out what trigger that light on. I havnt seen a system ready signal outside of the UOP's.
