Hi, I've got a KR6 R700. It's a demo unit from KUKA, so I imagine it's seen a fair bit of use by many different people. Sometimes when stopping at a position I've jogged it to it seems to disable it's drives before engaging the brakes (at least I think that's what's happening). I’ll jog the robot to a position, the robot will sit there, and then suddenly the tool will drop a few millimeters before the breaks catch it. The error displayed reads “stop due to standstill monitoring violation”.
This seems like a major problem. Is this something that can be fixed or is the robot itself shot?
