i want to take two robot backup at a time. like in abb.
is this possible to do in kuka. i am using kr c4
you don't have to do anything, all archives are stored in root of the USB stick. default name for archive files is serial number of the robot - ensuring they are all unique.
you can change the robot name if you like and use that as archive name - in this case it is your responsibility to make sure the names are unique.
then all you need to do is get USB stick, walk from one controller to another and keep collecting (or restoring) archives.
in KRC2 that was also possible but unfortunately someone had silly idea to make default file name for it "Archive.zip" and many robots never got that changed. so you approach one robot and make archive and you got Archive.zip. when you go to the next robot to collect archive, there was a pretty good chance of overwriting previous one...
You can take backup of any robot at a time but I do not understand what do mean by two robots at a time. Panic Mode is right, we can always change the name of Robot and have different archive names thus avoiding the problem of over-writing.

If you have an ethernet network set up, use WoV. Takes me 20 seconds to do 8 archives.
How do you do a backup using WorkVisual? Is there any possibility of automatization that im not seeing?
