Hello!
What is the max. speed-value I can use with an Integer variable for MOVL and MOVJ?
Here's the conversion factor :
MOVJ VJ=I000
If I000 = 10000 then that would be 100%
MOVL V=I001
If I001=15000, then that would be 1500mm/s.
Those would be your maximum speeds.
Please can anyone explain me, why there is the factor 100 (by MovJ) and 10 (by MovL)?
MOVJ VJ=I000
If I000 = 10000 then that would be 100%
Why not I000 = 100 would be 100%? --> why?
MOVL V=I001
If I001=15000, then that would be 1500mm/s.
Why not I001 = 1500 would be 1500mm/s --> why?

I´ve written the following job for speed for movL:
DIN LB008 IG#(76) Read HMI (speed set in %) Example IG#(76) = 100
SET LI000 LB008
MUL LI000 96 Multiply 100 * 96 = 9600
SET I000 LI000 Speed Movl = 9600 cm/min
Is this correct? May anyone can help me?
Because MOVJ speed is in % and has two decimal places.
MOVJ VJ=100.00
So when you lose the decimal you're left with 10000 instead of 100.00%
MOVL has one decimal place
MOVL V=1500.0 so again you just lose the decimal when you want to use a value from a variable.
you can change whether the MOVL is in cm/min or mm/sec from SETUP -> OPERATE COND.
Ok! Thanks I understand!
So MOVL has one decimal place and does not depent on the unity (mm/sec or cm/sec), right?
My job must be look like:
DIN LB008 IG#(76) Read HMI (speed set in %) Example IG#(76) = 100
SET LI000 LB008
MUL LI000 960 Multiply 100 * 960 = 96000
SET I000 LI000 Speed Movl = 9600,0 cm/min
Do you agree with that?

The controller is going to use mm/sec when a speed is a variable on a MOVL. It does not care what units you are using.
If you want the operator to type in a whole number for the speed on the hmi:
For a MOVJ multiply by 100.
For a MOVL multiply by 10.
