Hello all,
Robot with 3 external axis
I have from time to time the alarm 4303 - converter ready signal error.
I try to change almost everything in steering cabinet, converter from external axis, converter from robot, servopakiet from ex. axis , servopakiet from robot, supply unit DC 5 V, main platine WRCA, CPU ... ?
This alarm occur when switch from manual to automatic mode. Is there some parameters to change? or what could be the cause? any ideas. Please help.
Regards to all.

The alarm you sent shows the problem is in the robot (not the external axis). I would change the converter for the robot you didn't mention what size robot you have so I can't tell you what to look for). If after changing the converter and you still have the same problem, replace the WRCA board. please remember that this board has software that MUST match your system. Please make sure you look the system version of the original boards. If that does not do it, start looking at the power coming in. It could be a chattering contactor in the YPU or you could have unbalanced voltage coming into the robot.

We have had this problem before, it was the main contactors not pulling in at the same time. Changed the contactors and all was well.

I didn't mention that we reconfigured the system that is working without robot only external axis the robot is disconnect and the servo motor are switch off but the servo packiet from robot have to stay in the cabinet to controll the external unit. We do like this 2 system only with this one is problem. We also check and replace the relays - before I write this massage - that You mention. It could be the possibility that transformer is old and from time to time problems occur or is there anything that switching between manual and auto mode could cause this issue? I try to find the timer that switch the voltage on relays and give the power on servo motors ?

The manual says:
Cause:
There was no response(servo ready signal) of charge completion from converter at servo ON. While turning servo ON, the servo ready signal was intercepted .
The servo ready signal was not intercepted at servo OFF(at emergency stop). While turning servo OFF(at emergency stop), the servo ready signal was turned ON.
Reasons are as follows: Primary side power supply voltage was too low. Because the power supply cable of primary side was too fine or its cable was too long, the voltage drop occurred at servo ON. Defective WRCA01,WRCF01 circuit board Defective converterRemedy:
Reset the alarm and turn servo ON again. Check the primary power supply voltage (220V+10%). If the error occurs again, replace the WRCA01 circuit board, the
converter.
