If I'm not mistaken, if you call Fanuc, they can send you the original software for the robot for a price. That should get you the image, and then if you have an all files backup that should get you the rest of the way or at least as far as you were at the last all files backup.

I'll try fanuc for original software, but no I do not have any backups. I up and did not run a backup before dumping the memory.

Your screwed!!! This is the service call from hell that I try to warn people about. Fanuc can only sell you a re-burn of your software, not an image, but a complete reload.
You will need to reload it. after that you will need a PLC programmer(if you are using a PLC), someone to teach all of the robots motion, and someone who knows how to program your paint process.
I have had a handful of these calls in the past and the quickest I was able to get someone back up and running was 1 week. And this was a simple 1 robot welder.Back up your system and backup often!

I guess I better get started. thanks for the help yall. I'll stay in touch.

If your company bought the robot new you should have a disk or usb stick with the factory software.

If you have a twin robot, grab an image from it and reload. Then touch up points as needed. You can grab software from one and load to another. Pull an image then a full controller backup. This is if you have another robot that has same/similar characterists.

The Machine is correct you can do that but make absolutely sure the memory on each controller is the same.
