good I am glad your running, but FYI if you are checking the brake voltage, you will only see 90v when the power is first applied after that
the 45v will be continues.

never seen that one. but if you have a CPU, install it and try again.

I am in an automotive paint field. what we have done was install an encoder to the conveyor line and feed that back to the fanuc controller
through the line tracking option. your spool feed will be driven from that.the encoder is not a fanuc made item.

we getting over current alarms. then they are going out, fanuc said that it looks like we are demagnetizing the motor motor magnets???

hey guys, I have had a lot of axis 4,5 motors going bad on us over the last 2 months.
13 total. does this sound formilure to any body? -
hello all
how can I pull a full alarm history from my controller since it was first installed? rj3ib -
ok we found it. our crew leader asked to check the high voltage output to the paint applicator and found that we were getting abnormal
feedback from that line grounding out in the robot or across the encoder cable. hats off to him!!! -
hello all
I am getting this alarm intermittently (SRVO-073 SERVO CMAL alarm) on one of my robots, so far I changed out the break encoder cable for axis
4,5,6, and the DC TO DC 5 volt power supply board, and the break encoder board, as well as the motor and encoder associated with group x axis x
described in the alarm. The alarm is still present and intermittent.
where do I go from here? -
I guess I better get started. thanks for the help yall. I'll stay in touch.

I'll try fanuc for original software, but no I do not have any backups. I up and did not run a backup before dumping the memory.

in the case of a cpu battery, I'm not sure how long it will last in a powered off state. but for the d-cell encoder battery pack we change these
out once a year. with power on and robot in zero position. for the cpu battery , I have not needed to change one out yet but you will need to
restore a good image. that being said you should backup your controller every 6 months or annually . hope this helps. -
is it the controller bat or the encoder bat pack

hello all
I am using a rj3ib controller with a p200 robot. all the memory is dumped and I have no backup image.
I was using paint tool software. how can I start over?
