Thank you
have you configured the controller to use the UOP signals? (Menu - System - Config - Enable UOP Signals -> True)
yes I did that too, and i doesnt change, but if you see the picture attached you'll see on "Status" there is a "*"(asterik), it should change to offline, off, or on, but i dont know why that simbol its always there.
Do you have the same with UI (input) ?
Have you checked if your mapping use Devicenet, Ethernet or something else that need to be ONLINE ?
also, check the Config screen for the UOPs - if there are asterisks (*) at UO and UI signals, they may be configured to work with PMC.
Thank you bidzej for your answer, that solve my problem, PMC is something really new for me.
Thanks to all for your answers.
get to know it good, it's quite a smart solution
Hello,
I know its an old post...but I have a question.
I have the same situation in which the uop are * and the pmc controls them. The cell worked with PMC but we no longer need the PMC program that was made before we got the robot. I cannot find a cycle start signal that I can use. The green button on the controller box works but I want to use another input that do the same. THanks for the help.
You need to go into PMC configuration and clear all the lines., that was what i do.
Hope it can help you.

R-30iA or R30iB controller?
in the R-30iA, you have to restore an original PMC program, which you should be able to find in the PMC manual - the UOP signals are always controlled via the PMC in the R-30iA with PMC option installed.
if you have the R-30iB - do as Isco_rbt says.
