I have a robot S420 RJ2 (old GM unit I think), this robot has a collision of sort. Does not appear too major but some heavy loads were applied.
In any case the robot has a permanent SRVO-045 on axis 6 now.
We changed the top card on servo amp and it still has the error.
So we changed the servo amp with another with a KNOWN working unit.
Now it display srvo-045 on axis 5-6????
We moved the servo amp back to the good robot and the error is still there on the know good robot.
It appears the crashed robot is burning up servo amp. We dare not put another servo amp without knowing what could be the cause.
Is it possible for the mechanical unit to cause this problem?
Thank you!
