Hi
I only know the IRC5 controller but I will try restore a backup or, if you know make it restore the system.
Perhaps the problem is in the software.
I am sorry my help is poor

Hi eduardog
I changed computer unit with other controller but this problem ( when i hold the motor on , the system restart suddenly without any error ) is there . -

Hello,
Do you have another similar robot? If so, you could try to exchange some boards, to see where is the problem coming from.
You said you changed the computer unit, but can't you try to change the power supply DSQC 539 (or 506 maybe)
By the way, did you check the error messages list after the robot has restarted?

Hi
I have another S4C+ controller & I Changed the power supply DSQC 506 too but the problem doesn't solve . after reset , 10 error appear in error messages list as blow :
- 38001 Battery backup lost
- 38001 Battery backup lost
-20032 Rev.Counter not updated
-10036 Rev Counter not updated
-10008 Program Restarted
-10010 Motors off state
-10015 Manual mode selected
-10012 Safety guard stop state
-10005 Program stopped
-10005 Program stopped -
The last 40 errors are normally listed, and I would like to ask you if you checked if there are maybe some other errors. These ones are mainly due to a "low battery" that is on DSQC 508 (errors 38001 / 20032 / 10036). What you see in the list are the most recent errors, and you can go up to see the ones thatoccured before these ones, I think.
You could try to take the DSQC 508 from another robot, update the revolution counter and see if the problems still occurs, but note that you'll have the do that on the other robot too when you put the board in again.

I have not been on the forum for quite a while so I hope this reply can still do some good.
It sounds to me that you push the button you are dropping the +24vdc so low to the computer (or system) that you are forcing a restart. Try putting a meter across 24v and 0v while you push the button. If you don't see it there start working your way downstream to the next component that activates.

Me again...
I should've added that a typical reason for seeing all those faults occur, especially losing the rev counters plus other faults that may seem unrelated, is a short term drop in the 24vdc system. Having worked on ABB's in some hot, wet, nasty environments for about 15 yrs I've seen a few DC faults. Momentary and otherwise.I can always be wrong but that's a good place to start troubleshooting. Good luck.

hi
I changed all of the board in the controller with another controller but the problem haven,t solve .
in the log file I have Fan malfunction error (20306) in the end line after A few moments . whats this error ?
is it Related with my problem ? -
Did you notice which contactor turned on? Did you move the joystick to release contactor K3?
When you turn on "motor on" the contactors feeds 24vdc to brake system, Fan and DC link power...
The error 20306 says about FAN 2, normally a fan damage not result in restart error but better check it.
You can remove the wire 301(brake) on the auxiliar contact 22-21 on K3 to isolate a possible short circuit on the brake system out panel.
You can remove the wire 341(fan) on the contact auxiliar 7-8 on K3 to isolate a possible short circuit on the fan system.
you can remove the wire 299(motor on lamp) on the auxiliar contact 44-43 on K2 to isolate a possible short circuit on the lamp. -
Hi everybody
my problem solved . it was in wiring transformer unit . in XP30 terminal Unclench wire number 123 .
