The manual says the servo amp is bad.

This will sound weird but I had this happen a couple of weeks ago. The torch on the end of our welding robot had a break in one of the wires that was connected to the safety clutch. So when the system went to strike an arc it blew this fuse because it was backfeeding weld current onto the servo amp and blowing the fuse.
Hope this helps. -
I haven't spare parts for change the servo amp . How can I sure that problem is in the servo amp ? because I want order this board .
thanks for replays . -
Does it blow instantly at power up, or when you "Motor ON?
-
yes its blow instantly at power up.
-
check your motor and encoder cables, unplug and power up see if it blows, try to isolate the problem

Hi fishmaniac
I do this work but the fuse blown again. -
Do you have a manual?
-
If you disconnect everything but CRM 96 (incoming 24V, connection towards the bottom left) and it still blows FS-1 then it would have to be a bad servo amp, hope you have lots of fuses. I would still double check all external cables. Motors should ring out .7 to 2.7 ohm each phase (balanced), open to ground, brakes around 300 ohms +/- 10% A to B, open to ground or C.

thanks everybody for helping
the problem was in CN1 connector on the servo amp . there is one small Conductive object between CN1 base . I Bring out this object & Problem solved . -
Still very curious about the root cause. How can this conductive object get into the connector? If it wasn't a bug, was your cabinet door not closed tight?
