Hi,
I try to understand the philosophy of the option (pack number)... so here a couple of quesitons :
My controller is a R30iA
My robot is LR mate 200iC
#1 - What is the real name of "option", "Pack number", "PAC" or what else the name is...
#2 - In the PAC Delivery sheet I have these informations (I change a couple of digit because I don't know what must be keep "secret":
FNA part No : A05B-2400-R538
Software Option Name : Ethernet/IP Adapter
PACs : #### (ex : 1234)
Controller ID : ###### (ex : F12345)
Serial Number : ###### (ex : 012345)
PAC : ### (ex : 123)
Can you explain what each information is....
#3 - Is it correct to say that all "option" are present on the controller... we just need the PAC number to unlock it?
#4 - If I give my PAC number to someone, can he use it for his robot... or if each PAC number is for a determine Controller ID
#5 - if i get a "controller image" of a robot full of "option" and I restore it on another robot (same controller, same robot)... do i duplicate the "option".... it is probably bad to do this
#6 - How can I know what is already install on my controller
#7 - How can I know what can be install on my controller
#8 - How do I install a option
#9 - How do I uninstall a option
#10 - Why do I want to uninstall a option
#11 - It's not about the PAC, but probably the information will be at the same place so... how can I know the "hardware option" i have on my robot (ex : what is the configuration of the connection and piping on the wirst... RO[...] is use for solenoid valve or use for the wrist connector)
Thanks
