  • Fanuc spot tool vs handling tool vs arc mate

    OK, and what about "LR Handling" and "Handling"... one difference I saw is that the LR does have SPI on the emergnecy Board and Handling has 8 SPI on the emergency board (I just look in Roboguide... for the M-710iC/45M... and compare the 2 software). I'm surprise that the "software" has something to do with the "hardware".

    Do I miss something?

    So after I saw that, I just asking if there is other difference between them.

  • Roboguide installation problem in Windows 11

    I'm on win 10 and I got the same problem... it took me about 5 years to finally found the solution.... Roboguide do some grant acces using the account "Users". My windows is in "French" and in french there is no account named "Users"... just a account named "Utilisateurs".

    So I just create a temporary account named "Users" (and give it admin right..just in case) and "voilà le tout fonctionne" (translate : IT WORKS!!!).

    Maybe is not the same solution for everyone but it woks for me

    Hi Scipio, in the past I contact FANUC roboguide teams and what you need is just change a key in the windows register

    PNS_RSR signal control by Roboguide :

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\RGCore\Settings]

    "MapPnsRsrSignals"="True"


    PNS_RSR signal control manually by user (or PLC):

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\RGCore\Settings]

    "MapPnsRsrSignals"="False"

  • Handling Pro - Connect a external device to simulate movement (animate) in the virtual cell

    Hi,

    I want to animate the machine inside the workcell (virtual) with a external Allen-bradley PLC (L30ERM). I turn arround the "Externel device" in the cell browser and I look also in the machine property (motion tab). And I don't know how to make it work. I think I must use OPC server, I don't know if I must choose Modbus or "anonymous"....

    I want to change the value in a tag in the PLC and this will activate a move into the virtual cell. (I know how to make some move using the DO[...] of the robot)

    Can some one help me.

  • How to set automatically the display on the TP

    Hi,

    I want to set the display automatically on the TP by using some command in TPprog or karel. The setup I need is something like this :

    Use the split screen mode

    On the left, I want the browser to show a interface that I develop (let say : ABCPage.stm)

    On right, I want to show the live image vision of the IRVision

    How can I set by programmation (or other way ) the display of the TP.

    Ethernet generic module that try to connect to the 192.1.68.60

    It doesn't work ... The ethernet generic module return my a error : 16#0005 - Connection request Error: Bad Class
    I can connect to a real robot, but on a virtual robot it doesn't work.

    Is there something to do with the windows configuration (firewall, autorisation, access...)

  • RS232 Communication configuration

    Hi,

    I try to configure the rs-232 port on my controller (LR mate 200iC, V7.40). If i use the TP menu (Menu/Setup/PortInit) I only can change Baudrate, Parity, StopBit. But I also need to change to 7 or 8 bits data communication, Xon/Xoff.

    So by using Karel, I can use the command SET_PORT_ATR and GET_PORT_ATR to get access to all these config, but I don't work.
    The following line :
    stat=SET_PORT_ATR(PORT_2,ATR_DBITS,DBITS_8)
    return 17036 in the Stat variable

    The following line :
    stat = GET_PORT_ATR(PORT_2,ATR_DBITS,atr_value)
    return 17036 in the Stat variable

    So, how must I use these command???
    AND
    Where can I found the signification of the Status 17036???
